It took a little while to get this blog going, and now I need to give my predictions for the first games of the NFL playoffs. So, there are going to be two blog posts today since I need to do this one quickly, seeing as the game is already under way. Briefly then, Cardinals vs. Falcons: I like the Cardinals at home. They have been getting ripped into a lot lately about how bad they are, so they definitely have something to prove. Also, if we look at the quarterbacks alone, a rookie versus a two-time MVP/Super Bowl champion.
The fans have been waiting a long time (forever) for the Arizona Cardinals to have a home playoff game, and they will get the win.
Prediction:

Atlanta 24
